Winch Operator Safety Training

The regulations of the safe use of winch appliances and lifting equipment are extensive and cover all aspects of winching operations. Any winching operation can be potentially hazardous unless the correct equipment and working practices are employed, with the responsibility for this resting with the Winch operator. By applying knowledge and understanding correctly, while working you will greatly improve safe and successful operations.

Course Aim
To instruct candidates in the correct and safe use of winch machines, specific to their typical tasks.

Objective:
To acquire an understanding of towing and anchor handling winch operations.
