This course has been designed to update delegates on standards and recommended practices applicable to lifting operations, lifting appliances and accessories. The course also covers planning, risk assessment, including a rigging scenario, to assess the delegate’s current level of competence.
To teach the basic skill requirements, practical applications and associated job safety knowledge to personnel involved in slinging, lifting and signaling operations. At the end of the course successful delegates should be able to identify, select, inspect and use slings and lifting tackle both safely and efficiently.
Who should attend?
This course is aimed at delegates who wants to be a rigger or require refresher training after completing a full rigging, lifting and slinging course within the last two years.
